Travel insurance is designed to provide financial safeguards for covered events ranging from inconveniences to calamities. Benefits may include both costs incurred before your trip, such as nonrefundable event tickets or hotel stays, and during your trip, including travel interruptions and medical expenses. Allianz Global Assistance offerings range from the affordable and simple Essential Plan, which may work for the quick weekend getaway, to the Classic Plan with Trip +, which is designed for families traveling abroad who may experience any number of unforeseen challenges and inconveniences.

Our occupied pricing service areas for private charters in the Pilatus PC-12 are:
- Northeast: 300 Nautical Miles from Westchester County Airport (HPN)
- Southeast: 350 Nautical Miles from Palm Beach International Airport (PBI), including all of The Bahamas
- Caribbean: 300 Nautical Miles from San Juan International Airport (SJU)
- Trip must begin and end within the region
Yes! Our in-fleet aircraft have a range capability further than our service regions, and we are also able to utilize our partner network for any trips that require a larger cabin or longer range. This network of trusted partners extends all over the world and our team will always choose an aircraft that best suits your needs and itinerary. Please contact our team to discuss your upcoming travels.

Yes, you can book as many aircraft at a time as you’d like, subject to availability.
Tradewind operates a fleet of Pilatus PC-12 turboprop aircraft. However, our team can assist in securing the best aircraft for your itinerary for trips that require a larger cabin or longer range. Any travel arranged by Tradewind using a different aircraft type is neither owned nor operated by Tradewind.
When booking a trip that is out of the Tradewind-operated fleet, we will only book with ARGUS Gold or Platinum safety-rated operators. Additionally, Tradewind will only book flights with operators that mirror our safety policy of flying with two pilots. For more information, please contact our reservations team.
Scheduled flights operate on a predetermined schedule and are sold by the single seat. Private charters operate at your desired time and on your route.
An empty leg is a flight that is scheduled to fly without any passengers to a pre-defined location in order to reposition or return an aircraft for another trip. Empty legs can also be referred to as “dead-heads,” “repositions,” or “ferry flights.”
Members of our Goodspeed Card Program have the option of applying their account credit towards trips booked outside of the Tradewind fleet.
